Warrensburg officer accused of sex crimes bonds out of jail

A Warrensburg police officer has bonded out of jail after charges that he sexually assaulted a nine-year-old girl.

42-year-old Douglas Spensley faces a charge of predatory criminal sexual assault. Police say he sexually assaulted the nine-year-old girl at his home sometime this past week. The Macon County State's Attorney's Office says Spensley should be in court Friday.
