Hot cup of coffee and a belly full of news, my take, or my mistake. I tend to go right for the local section, A3 , after all that is what interest me the most. Just when exactly is all the stop the violence marches going to start working it's magic and turn this lovely city into a crime free environment that will be the place to be.
A 12 year old girl,,, (yes 12) was sexually abused on a bus between 3 and 3;30 p.m. Friday. Sexually abused on a bus? Come on people! The girl stated the boys wore an orange shirt and a black shirt, there were also witness reports verifying this.9
In another report a 27 year old woman was was accosted in the 1200 block of North Edward Street, suffered a cut below her right eye and swelling and bruising.
The suspect was described as a black female, 5'9" 190# between in her late 20's and wearing a blue jacket with black pants. The assailant was also reported having red hair.
Reported a approximately 3:30a.m. a laptop computer was reported stolen from a house in the 1600 block of North Woodford. Police say the theft occurred precisely at 11:10 p.m. but was not reported untill later. A 35 Year Old woman is suspected in the theft.
Another Decatur Home reported that sometime between the hours of 4 and 9:45 a.m. Saturday Morning, Six Gold and silver rings, and six wristwatches were taken. A 29 year old woman is listed as a suspect.
